Business Programme & Social Activities
The 2008 Parking Convention Programme is designed to appeal to a broad range of people working in the parking industry to ensure past delegates and new attendees find the meeting stimulating and informative.
The international speakers will provide a global perspective on the industry whilst the Australian industry leaders will present national viewpoints, facts and figures.
Delegates will also have the opportunity this year to choose from attending a series of sessions over one or two day/s depending on their area of interest in the parking industry.

Social Activities
The social activities of the Convention offer you a great opportunity to meet socially and to renew or develop new friendships with colleagues in your industry. This year’s activities will offer you the best of what Melbourne has to offer ensuring many memories to take home.

Better Ball Stableford Event
Moonah Links Legends Course is 1.5 hours from Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula. The course is ranked 4th in the top Resort Golf Courses in Australia.
Fee includes motorised carts, players pack, beverages, refreshments, lunch and bus transfers to/from Sebel Albert Park. Maximum field of 48 players. Guests are expected to be appropriately attired at all times whilst at Moonah Links. See www.moonahlinks.com.au for regulations.

The Registration Desk will open at 4.00pm on Sunday 12 October. Once you have registered and collected your registration satchel you will have the opportunity to enjoy canapés and drinks in the Trade Exhibition, enjoying the spectacular views of Albert Park Lake and Port Phillip Bay.

The evening begins with a visual entrée of prestigious cars at the Fox Car Collection, a hidden treasure of Melbourne’s CBD. Relax and unwind with canapés and Victorian Micro beers and wine whilst admiring the $15 million collection that includes the Bentley, Ferrari, Jaguar, Porsche, and Rolls Royce.
From there it is on to the coach and a short drive to the most famous sporting icon of Melbourne - the MCG. Whether you are a fan of cricket, football or neither this venue is one full of interesting history where you can experience Melbourne’s hospitality at its finest.
Enjoy your dinner over looking the famous turf, make new friends and test your sporting trivia prowess. Sit back and listen to charismatic guest speaker Beverly O’Conner as she shares the thrills and challenges involved in being the first ever female director of an AFL club. Then, as the band strikes up a tune, it is on to the final innings of the evening on the dance floor, before coach transfers return guests to conference hotels.
